This is really incredible! I’d love to see this techniques used to generate game world terrains, a nice alternative to perlin noise for procedural maps. Imagine making weathered mountains and rivers and roads with multiple layers each following slightly different rules. Keep up the great work.

this is awesome, very fast. I have done some pretty fast DLA demos. Do you know how DLA differs from Laplacian Growth? Any chance I can take a look at the source? Thanks!

Hi, and thanks for your comment. It’s true that DLA & Laplacian Growth both give visually very similar looking results, and the main difference is in the approach.
I’m afraid so far the source code is quite messy, but in case I work it further I’ll be back …
